Xiaomi Mi Note 2 curved display leak – rumor or fact?
The latest among the rumors is that Xiaomi Mi Note 2 will be featuring a curved OLED display which is supplied by LG, though it looks much like Samsung.
This revelation came from China’s microblogging website Weibo. According to the Weibo users Note 2 will feature a curved display made of AMOL ED panel provided by LG. Even though it looks like Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, the display is not from Samsung. The revelation also unveils that the MI Note 2 will be ‘the first mass production of LG flexible AMOLED screen.’ This caused speculations that there can be a delay in releasing this new device. However, recent declaration confirms the date as 25th October.
Recent rumors were plenty. One of them suggested that MI note 2 is going to have a flexible display that bends on all its sides. Another rumor was that it will have a bezel-less display similar to Sharp Aquos Crystal. But Weibo has clarified all these rumors. Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has curve OLED panels that are actually flexible. However, since the touchscreen is made of glass, we cannot directly touch the panels or bend it. Anyway, flexible or not, one thing is sure that Xiaomi MI Note 2 curved display leak is not among the myths about the device. Evidently this is enough to provide it with a premium look.
