2016 Q3 sales figures of the Chinese smartphone market is out. The report does not show much difference in the list of top selling Chinese Smartphone brand names. Oppo is the leader while Vivo has the second position. Huawei slipped to third position, quite surprisingly to be honest, and Xiaomi sales figure got it the fourth position of the list. If the figures are anything to go by, Chinese consumers are certainly not backing away from trying out new brands if the promises are good.

The 2016 Q3 sales figures of top selling Chinese Smartphone
As per recent release of Q3 sales figures for the Chinese market, the four top selling Chinese Smartphone together amassed 71 million units of sales. Oppo topped the list with a whopping 22 million units of Smartphone sold during this period. Second place holder Vivo reports 19 million units of sales. Huawei, even though the result was unexpected, is not far behind. The sales figure for Huawei Smartphones in China is at 18 million for Q3 of 2016. At the fourth position another major Chinese Smartphone manufacturer, Xiaomi – recording 12 million units of sales.

Even though Vivo, Huawei and Xiaomi were expected to be frontrunners, Oppo made quite a remarkable entry. Xiaomi’s sales dropped from 15.22 million units in Q2. Huawei sales took hardest hit, taking a massive plunge from 32 million units of sales in Q2 of 2016.
Chinese Smartphone market is fast developing and changing. Various new features and spectacular camera quality along with highly powerful processor seems like major draw. Some more unique and interesting products are already the talk of the town. New technological breakthroughs are also happening fast.
